DIY cardboard crown
Even a child can make a cardboard crown even without outside help from adults. To do this, you need to take A4 cardboard. An elastic meter measures head circumference. If necessary, several sheets of cardboard are glued together in a long rectangular shape.
The pencil on this cardboard draws the shape of the crown, which can be even the most unusual form: with sharp cloves, with turrets, with patterns. After the workpiece is ready, it is cut with scissors. The article is bent into a circle. Both edges are attached together with a clerical stapler. In order for the crown to hold steady on the baby’s head, you can puncture holes in two places and stretch an elastic band through them. She will stretch under the chin.
The resulting cardboard crown is decorated with your own hands. Simple beads, sequins, ribbons and strasses will also go into business. All this is attached to the glue. After the glue base has dried, the product is safely put on the baby's head. It is recommended to sew a royal dress for the little princess. This will undoubtedly bring great joy to the child.
DIY crown made of wire and beads
It will take several hours to create such an elegant crown. But it is not so easy to break or mash. In one return movement, the shape of the crown will return to its original state.
To make a crown with your own hands you will need: beautiful golden hue beads (40 grams), simple golden hue beads (5 grams), golden bead glass beads (5 grams), 0.3 ml special wire for bead weaving, 1 ml wire, pliers and wire cutters.
Work begins with a set of beads on a wire. The wire is taken that is thicker. The picture shows a crown with a rim slightly larger than the neck of a three-liter glass jar. If desired, the rim diameter can be increased.
When the right amount of beads is gathered onto the wire, its ends twist.
The next step is weaving the crown petals with your own hands. French weaving technique used. On it, a bead-cutting of 15 pieces is strung on a wire segment 70 cm long. A loop is formed on one side of the future petal (as indicated in the photo).
After that, the beads are strung again and an even larger loop is made. The beads weave in an arc until the moment comes to twist the wire at the base of the resulting leaf.
At the very top of the petal, the loop unfolds. Beads and bugles are strung on it. The tip of the wire does not need to be cut. It is enough to make a few turns and carefully hide it in a bugle.
According to the described scheme, you need to make five leaves.
After their manufacture, they are attached to the rim at an equidistant distance. Between themselves, the leaves are attached using beads.
So it turned out a small masterpiece - a do-it-yourself crown made of beads and wire.
DIY crown made of lace
Such a textile crown on the princess will look very elegant from the side. The image will become completely more tender and sweeter.
To make a lace crown, you need lace, rhinestones for decoration, foil and glue.
The required length of lace is measured. Cuts. In order for the crown to keep its shape perfectly and not bend, lace is placed on the foil and on it it is impregnated with PVA glue. It is left to dry completely (about six hours).
After drying, the lace is decorated with ribbons, rhinestones, beads. They sit on the glue. It is better to use instantly drying colorless glue.
Both ends of the lace are glued together. It should turn out a bright and charming crown for a girl. This craft can be of different thickness and width. The crown from a wider lace of the finest weaving looks magically.
DIY do-it-yourself crown
Making a crown with your own hands from felt is not difficult. This material is a pleasure to work with. Felt keeps its shape perfectly due to its density. It is an environmentally friendly material. Felt does not roll around the edges, so you do not have to process them.
You just need to cut out the desired pattern from paper and apply it to the fabric. It is imperative to measure the circumference of the child’s head in advance. Cut two parts to let the gum inside the product.
To give a beautiful shape at the edges, it is advisable to lay a line on a sewing machine. Then you need to insert an elastic band of the desired width. The gum can be driven in using the ruler. If the girth of the head is correctly measured, then in the end the gum will not peek out of the crown on the child’s head. Otherwise, it will be ugly. If desired, the elastic can be replaced with a satin ribbon, which will be tied every time you put on a bow behind your head.
The resulting crown is decorated with artificial roses with your own hands. In the photo they are made of felt. It is important to choose a rose flower for pleasant pink and cream shades. To create a flower, oval and round shapes are cut, which are then formed into a bud. They can be sewn with threads and attached to a felt crown.
