Ukrainian radicals threaten Sophia Rotaru

Recently, Sophia Rotaru’s son Ruslan posted a photo on the web in which the singer is holding a Ukrainian flag. A little later, Rotaru gave an interview in which she admitted that if she, like Gérard Depardieu, offered to give her a Russian passport, she would hardly refuse him. Such recognition literally infuriated the radical Ukrainians.

Having appeared in the house to the star, they in a rather boorish style demanded from the singer to decide which side she takes. Threateningly, they recommended that she "get out of Ukraine."

Director Rotaru said that the singer was horrified and very worried about herself and her relatives.
