In March of this year, actress Jenny Garth, star of the Beverly Hills 90210 youth series and Peter Facinelli of Twilight, put 16 years of marriage together in the passport stamps about the divorce. In their long-term love, three girls Luke (15 years old), Lola ( 9 years old), and Fiona (6 years old).

This divorce became very painful for the actress, because for several years she tried to save their marriage. “I spent several years lying in bed and was just depressed,” Garth said in an interview with PEOPLE. “Physically, I was not in my best shape, and mentally I did not feel better than anyone else. I did everything I could to be a good mom, but that was the only thing I could do well. ”

After months of introspection and isolation, Garth realized what was needed to return to life again. First, she moved from a ranch in California, where she moved after a breakup. “I could hide and never work again, never fall in love again, and never laugh again,” says Garth.

Last year, the actress became a kind of rebirth - all the negativity and pain are a thing of the past. In addition, the actress lost 30 pounds in a very short time.

“Sitting on the couch and eating chips all day long has never helped anyone,” the slender actress jokes. She was engaged in physical activity twice a week with a personal trainer. In addition, it has become very reasonable about food.

Such modifications were simply necessary in order to feel like a happy single mother of three daughters. “I'm not longing and I'm not sad,” she says of her divorce from Facinelli. Thanks to the support of family and friends, as well as interesting work, she became a stronger person. At the moment, the actress is filming in her own reality show "Jenny Garth: Life in the Country" on one of the American television channels. “I have a strong physique. And I have a lot of inner calm now, ”Garth rejoices.

Speaking of his children: “Peter and I, we work hard to be better parents than we can be. My mother greatly overestimated my self-esteem, she made me believe that I was a princess. I don’t want to give my girls the wrong idea about life, because life is not an easy thing, and they will fight it. ” But he certainly adds to them: "You are worthy of success, happiness and love."

“I just want to love and be loved” is the current motto of 40-year-old Jenny Garth.
