However, the sun is insidious: in pursuit of attractiveness and beauty, you can get burns or heat stroke. Doctors warn that ultraviolet in high doses provokes early skin aging and oncology. How to sunbathe to protect your skin and health? We list the basic rules for proper tanning and do not become afraid of anything.

1. Sunbathing should be before 11 am or after 16-17 hours. Procedures should be started from 10-15 minutes, gradually increasing the time. Remember: even if your skin already perceives the sun painlessly and calmly, it is better to limit the daily tanning time to 2-3 hours.

2. After bathing in sea water, it is imperative to rinse with fresh water, as salty drops act similarly to small lenses, which leads to burns. Of course, fresh water droplets also resemble lenses, but they are much weaker.

3. Do not forget that even being in water all the time, you can burn out. Half a meter depth will not save you from burns, you will still absorb about 60-65% of ultraviolet radiation.

4. Proper tanning involves the use of protective creams. When going to the beach, be sure to bring along a sunscreen that has high levels of SPF and UVA components.

5. Sunbathing and deciding to swim in the sea, first cool down a bit in the shade. The skin does not like sudden changes in temperature. She may begin to peel off and cringe. And one more piece of advice: the closer you are to the water, the faster you sunbathe, well, or burn it - you choose.

6. How to sunbathe from a meal position? Experts recommend going to the beach 1-1.5 after a meal - this is the best time. Do not take sunbaths after a hearty lunch or on an empty stomach, in any case, the body will be hard.
