  • two to three tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Cooking method

Prepare a batter: beat the egg with sour cream, add finely shredded cheese, if you want, add a little salt. Please note: flour is not used in this recipe, therefore cheese is the main “astringent” component. You can mix several varieties of cheese, for example, classic Dutch and mozzarella (it will give an extra creamy touch). Such a batter may not be well kept on a wet slice of a tomato slice, so a rather large spoon should be used for putting tomato slices in the pan.
