With the advent of the “eco” prefix, everything that could be connected with it tightly came into fashion: eco-style interiors, environmentally friendly products, eco shampoos and hair balms, as well as all kinds of natural materials from which clothes and shoes, household items and face and body skin care products. Life in the eco style has become a real fashion trend. Only many naive people misinterpret fashion trends, believing that eco-products must be bought for crazy money. Competent sellers use this to advertise their products as environmentally friendly and 100 percent natural.

You are quite capable of making any kind of eco-product with your own hands at home, without spending a huge amount of money. For example, what do you think, how much can an organic hair mask with unique ingredients cost in a cosmetics store? Most likely, its price will be several times higher than that of a mask with natural oils, prepared at home. Take burdock oil for hair, for example. Or any other: coconut, castor, macadamia oil and others. Believe me, a home mask with them will be no worse than a store one, and the effect of the application will not take long.

What are the benefits of hair oils?

Thick, viscous, transparent liquids of various shades are nothing but concentrated compositions squeezed from various fruits and plants by pressing or extraction. It is difficult to name oil for skin care or hair just a cosmetic product. This is the "heart" of the plant, it contains a huge complex of minerals, nutrients and trace elements that can affect the structure of the skin and each hair is much better than any chemical with a complex name like zinc pyrithione. Even if you see the phrase “almond oil” or “nettle extract” in the composition of a conventional cosmetic product, it is not a fact that these ingredients are really present in it.

Hair masks based on mineral, vegetable and essential oils, as well as adding them to shampoo for daily use, will affect your hair in the most positive way. For example, coconut oil or almond oil will help soften, moisturize and protect hair from external influences, aggressive ultraviolet radiation and the consequences of frequent use of a hair dryer or styler. Shea butter and jojoba oils perfectly smooth the hair structure, greatly facilitating styling and giving them shine. But the popular burdock oil has a number of incredibly useful properties, including:

• Of course, a strengthening property. This is simply an indispensable tool to combat hair loss and brittleness. It can penetrate deep into the roots, through the hair follicles, preventing hair loss and forming a protective film on each hair.

• Getting rid of dandruff, as well as peeling and itching of the scalp.

• Restoring the structure of the hairline after perming, the frequent use of hot air currents from a hair dryer or a hot curling iron.

• Return of shine and elasticity to hairs, facilitating styling.

Along with castor oil, burdock can really cope with hair problems, especially if the chemicals in masks and shampoos purchased at the store did not bring the desired effect. Burdock oil for hair is just an environmentally friendly product, which at the same time costs mere pennies. It is enough to use masks or balms with burdock oil only 1-2 times a week and the result will be obvious.

When should you not use burdock oil for hair?

Naturally, like any other product, burdock oil for hair can have a number of adverse reactions. The most common of these is allergies. If you have ever had an allergic reaction associated with the use of burdock oil, refuse any contact of the skin with this product. Otherwise, even the mildest allergy, a slight itch and a superficial rash can transform in literally minutes into massive swelling of the face, eyelids, lips and even the respiratory tract. Agree, the risk while using such a hair product is unreasonably great.

Also, burdock oil for hair is not recommended for women with oily hair. Since it can make your hair heavier and leave a greasy film if you wash your hair incorrectly, your hair style may be damaged and you will be disappointed in this product for a long time. That is why it is important to remember: the ideal combination would be the combination of burdock hair oil + chicken yolk. Using the yolk, you can wash off the oily film from the hairs and scalp much easier. And do not forget that you need to remove the oil mask with plenty of water.

Another way to quickly flush burdock oil from your hair: You will need rye flour (a couple of tablespoons) and warm water. You need to make a mass resembling thick sour cream, cover your hair directly on top of burdock oil, rub a little and rinse with plenty of water first, and then with your standard shampoo.

Burdock oil for strengthening hair with oatmeal and kefir

Due to the incredible property of burdock oil to strengthen and prevent hair loss, the first mask that we want to offer you is firming. For ladies who are tired of fighting with brittle, falling hairs, dull color and lack of shine, it is perfect.

To prepare the mask yourself at home, you need to take:

• Half a glass of kefir,

• 2 tbsp. l Hercules flakes,

• Yolk,

• 2 tbsp. l burdock oil,

• 1 tbsp. l castor oil.

So, you are going to make a firming hair mask. To do this, heat a little kefir (preferably in a water bath, avoiding boiling) and fill them with oatmeal. While it is steaming, put burdock hair oil in the same water bath. Under no circumstances should it be boiled, so watch carefully for heat. Introduce the egg yolk, castor oil and oatmeal with kefir into the butter. Apply to hair, distribute according to length, put on a transparent shower cap and wrap your head in a towel. Now you can do your household chores, and in an hour you will need to wash off the mask. If desired, kefir can be replaced with low-fat sour cream or yogurt.

Burdock oil for hair growth with red pepper, lemon and yolk

Very often in the pharmacy you can see the already prepared burdock root oil, combined with red pepper. Sometimes this mixture is supplemented with cloves or rosemary. This combination is an ideal tool to stimulate hair growth. Yes, we warn you right away, it burns very much, so leaving the mask for an entire hour is not possible. Even half an hour is enough for the impact, if you, of course, can endure this period. But after just a few uses, you will notice that the hair has become noticeably stronger and longer. Red pepper, which can “burn” on the scalp, perfectly stimulates blood circulation in this area, so the hairs grow back much faster.

Usually a hair mask is prepared in this way:

• Burdock oil with red pepper - 2 tbsp. l

• Chicken egg yolk,

• Lemon juice squeezed from half a citrus fruit,

• Olive or sea buckthorn oil - 2 tbsp. l

We combine all the ingredients in one container, put on gloves and under no circumstances touch the eyes and face while applying the mask. Rub the mixture into the skin, cover with a cap of polyethylene, and a towel on top. Now the gloves can be removed, but they will have to be put on again while washing. You need to rinse off the mask very carefully, it is better to tilt your head above the side of the bathroom so that the particles do not get into your eyes.

Burdock hair oil with peppermint essential oil - for summer use

During the summer heat, peppermint tincture in combination with the same essential oil can come in handy. Besides the fact that these products refresh and cool the scalp, they also affect the speed of hair growth, making them elastic and strong.

You can prepare the mask as follows:

• Take your standard rinse conditioner, it is better to be neutral,

• Mix 3-4 tbsp. l balm with 3 drops of peppermint essential oil, 2 tablespoons of tincture and the same volume of burdock oil for hair,

• Cover the hair with this compound for 1-1.5 hours, not forgetting to wrap it with polyethylene initially, and only then with a warm towel.

When the time allotted for exposure ends, you can rinse your hair by foaming the mixture with plenty of warm water.

How else can burdock oil be used?

Did you know that burdock oil can be exploited not only to strengthen hair? It will be a great way to take care of the nails and skin of the hands, and in addition it is recommended to add it to a variety of masks, scrubs and peels for the skin of the face.

For example, you can make a special care mask for pens with your own hands. To do this, just take burdock oil, a little honey and natural yogurt. Note: absolutely all mask ingredients are considered environmentally friendly. To make your handles stunningly soft and your nails very strong, you need to apply this mask to your skin, put on gloves made of thin polyethylene (they can be found in any package of hair dye), and wrap a towel around each hand. So you have to sit for about half an hour, and then, of course, rinse off this fragrant mixture. Among other things, one of the express methods of nail care is a cuticle massage using burdock oil.

If you regularly cover your face with masks with burdock oil, you can effectively get rid of peeling, acne, inflammation and even eczema after a short time. Such a mask will help restore the skin after salon peeling, but it can be used only after some time, and not immediately after the procedure. The cosmetologist will tell you how to apply the mask correctly.

Perfectly strengthens burdock oil and eyelashes. If you want long and silky cilia, and you have burdock oil at home, try applying it every night before bedtime. It will affect them in exactly the same way as the well-known castor oil. Just remember: pure burdock oil is suitable for the care of cilia, but it is strictly forbidden to use the same product with the addition of red pepper.
