During the concert of the famous opera diva Anna Netrebko in the New York Metropolitan Opera there was a scandal: when the actors bowed out, a Ukrainian activist Roman Torgovitsky ran onto the stage and showed a poster displaying the criticism of the Russians.
Despite the fact that Netrebko did not react to what happened, in fact, she was incredibly outraged. The singer is surprised how the protection of such a serious institution missed the hooligan-nationalist on the scene.
The representative of the artist said that at present, the Metropolitan Opera security service is checking how its employees could have missed a stranger.
It should be noted that such an action, directed against Russian artists, is not the first abroad. Recently, signatures were gathered in London against the performance of the singer Valeria at the Albert Hall. At the exit of the institution, activists gathered a picket. It is curious that among the demonstrators, a former Russian businessman, and now a British businessman Yevgeny Chichvarkin, was spotted.
