As American scientists have established, lighting, in which a person influences not only the stimulation of appetite, but also the amount of food eaten.

So, a study was conducted in which people were asked to read in blue light for 15 minutes before lunch. As a result, study participants ate more food than in daylight.

The reason for this phenomenon is still incomprehensible. However, it has long been noted that cold room lighting can disrupt sleep, preventing the production of the sleep hormone melatonin. Scientists suggest that such coverage provokes the production of a hormone that affects the appetite.
