Specialists who participated in the World Congress of Psychiatrists, denied the strong view that nerve cells are not able to recover.

It was found that the brain develop throughout a person’s life. It is from this position that modern psychiatry comes. According to the earlier opinion, there are only two periods in a person's life during which the brain is most plastic and susceptible - up to three years and adolescent. Then, as it was believed, the active development of the brain is suspended. Now we know that it is not.

In addition, it was stated that the restoration of brain nerve cells is minimally possible even in people suffering from senile dementia.
